It seems like we're always running from one place to another - work, home, gym, yoga, pick up kids, drop off dry cleaning... and while we may have healthy meals planned it's those in-between times that we can get stuck. In November, I'll be sharing delicious and healthy treats for you to make and take with you as you move through your busy days. There are great afternoon pick-me-ups and energizing snacks. Here's a sneak peek of the first one! For these Pecan Zucchini Muffins I used zucchini from our CSA, chopped toasted pecans, and a few fall spices. They also happen to be dairy-free and vegan! Want the recipe? Join my e-mail list and it will be delivered to your in-box tomorrow morning.
It's just a little Friday love from me to you.

I love meeting new people. And in DC, when you meet someone new they usually ask you two things - 1. your name and 2. what you do for a living. That's where it really gets interesting.
I'm a yoga instructor. Most people have heard of yoga, been to a class, or at least wear yoga pants on the weekends. So that part of my work is pretty straightforward. I'm also a holistic health coach. A what? I work with people to improve their lives and their health, from a holistic perspective. Oh, like a life coach? Well, not exactly. More like someone who supports you to create a balanced life that incorporates your passions and allows you to feel happy, healthy, and inspired every day. And more often than not, my new friend tells me she's tried meditation, is looking for a new job, and thinks she should go gluten-free because everybody's doing it. She's ready to meet the love of her life, move abroad for a year, or start a compost pile. The possibilities are ENDLESS and exciting! She's committed to making changes, joins my e-mail list and tries a yoga class. But 6 months later, she's in the same stressful job and just ate two donuts for breakfast. It's HARD to change things on your own. We're taught to believe that we can do anything - just a little motivation and a lot of hard work and we'll make it. But it's not that easy. We need support, accountability, and someone to guide us along the path. That's exactly what I do. My clients, some of who felt stuck for years, have all made incredible changes. They've started businesses, lowered their blood pressure, and moved across the country. We've celebrated a pregnancy, new jobs, and engagements. But the thing I love most about my work is seeing each person create a daily life they love. The simple moments are often the most powerful, and I'm so thankful to be able to do this work that makes a lasting difference in my client's lives - day in and day out. If you're looking for support in living a balanced and inspired life, please schedule a breakthrough session with me. We'll talk about your life, goals, and how I can support you as you build an amazing, happy, and incredible life. |
